We also would like to thank all the volunteers that help out each year. If you would like to help with barricade (very important job) please email the office at info@downtownchatham.com or call at 519-352-8387.
Parade will be Staged on Sandys Street and exit at 6:30pm sharp. Bring your lawnchairs and blankets and watch anywhere on King Street West to King Street East, ending at the WISH CENTRE. Santa will make a stop there so the kids can stop and talk to him.
Things that happen at our parade: Bring non-parishable goods for the collections (we usually have at least 2 groups collecting). Good fellows; Salvation Army and sometimes a third group so bring lots. Bring your teddy bears for Electric City who collects them, has them cleaned and then given to the OPP for distribution. The firemen sometimes collects cash donations as well. Canada Post collects letters for Santa to get them to the North Pole. There will be a vendor or two selling sweet goods during the parade on the sidewalk (at the Downtown Chatham Centre).
Chatham has always been generous and Santa sees the good we do here!
