Organizers of the Rims and Ribs event this year welcome guests from the Tappen, British Columbia area. As seen on History Channel and Netflix, star Avery Shoaf of Wild Man Restoration will be joined by colleague Cassidy McEown of Rust Bros Restorations during the May 26th to 28th celebration of Rims and Ribs in Chatham-Kent.
In addition to their visit to Chatham-Kent, Avery and Cassidy will be included in the celebration through the Parking Lot Party Friday night, Celebrity Rib Judging on Saturday and the VIP party at Sons of Kent on Sunday night. Special accommodations have been made for the stars to visit some historic sites related to the automotive industry as well.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be welcoming Avery and Cassidy to the area for the weekend, and I think the feeling is mutual. Multiple discussions with Avery assure me that he is excited to come down and see all the classic cars, and meet with the amazing people we have in CK”, said Chris Glassford; Co-organizer of Rims and Ribs 2023.
When asked if he was interested in Rib Judging, Avery immediately chimed in “Heck yeah! I am a rib connoisseur and will send those bad boys back if they aren’t perfect!”
