Get an early start on FireFest Chatham-Kent – Friday, September 18th.
A hand-selected collection of fire trucks will be on static display on King Street in downtown Chatham starting at 5:00pm. Lights (and maybe sirens!) will be blazing once it gets dark. Gaze at the trucks….talk with the owners….and learn more about fire history.
It all leads up to the concert by the Bon Jovi tribute band Keep The Faith inside the St. Clair College Capitol Theatre.
A new addition to FireFest Chatham-Kent where kids 12 and under can compete in events like a REAL fire fighter.
The professionally built course includes a balance test, shooting water at a ‘flame’ from a real fire hose, climbing through a house to grab the rescue dummy and then dragging it backwards across the finish line…..all while dressed in fire fighter bunker gear!
The Junior F.I.R.E. Challenge course will be set up on Fourth Street at King Street and will be operating Saturday September 19th from 10am to 3pm. And it’s all FREE!
Fire Truck Rope Pull
ANOTHER NEW EVENT THIS YEAR TAKING PLACE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH.
